AI to counter flawed appraiser bias claims

This is from an article recently published by the new Appraisal Institute president and it’s about time someone stuck up for us. You can read the article here. My comment in reply was…Thank you for pointing out this flawed theory. Appraisers don't have any stake in the assignment like all other parties in a Real Estate transaction. Why would we appraise a property higher or lower than market value? Neither scenario would change the fee we are paid and would jeopardize our ability to work in our field. It just doesn’t make sense and violates our ethics.
